kitenski, They have had quitealot but it was well above the village. A liitle dusting only here but i know val thorens had a covering. Still alot can happen in the mountains!!

kitenski, the webcams tell the story. its alot whiter than yesterday and i wouldnt read much into the abve, there was 4" of new snow on the glcr last sat nite/sun morning and it remained unchanged!

HARRYMAC2702 - my "on the spot" reporter says they've got around 10cm of wind packed fresh stuff on the glacier today.

I didn't see the 10cm myself but my room mate skied it.
Everywhere except the glacier is closed and bare and the glacier is very busy with lots of race training...
I guess I'll have to start dealing with ruts as we chop up the new snow tomorrow when our slalom training continues, pity, I was just starting to get used to the ice!
The good news is that it felt considerably colder today, the sky is depressingly clear though...
