While surfing in the internet I found about skiing in dubai. And I wonder how it feels like skiing in desert? lol
Is their indoor skiing is really enjoyable? Anyone here went to dubai as well to go skiing?

I'm going to be in Dubai for an hour or so on the way to Oz for the Ashes,doubt it's enough time to check out the slopes!

It would be great to go, but think of the damaging effects on the environment, the amount of refrigiration required to keep that place at the correct temperacture........

I'm there with Mrs Dover in November and will definitely be trying the indoor slope.....I'll let you know how I get on !

It's supposed to be good! And absoloutly huge. A double black diamond run I believe. Unless you are a competent skiier or border though you will need to book lessons. But As far as I am aware, that is a bit of over-hype, and it would not be given a double black diamond classification.
My sister has emmigrated out there, and has been for the recreational stuff with a friends kid, and says it is really good. And her b.f who ski's alot, said it was ok.
Deffinately worth a go if your over there.

The skis have never seen wax and the edges are non existent
