Looks promising. I wonder how many non members will pay the £10 annual subscription, though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

CEM, quite a few, I think. According to the annual report, nearly half the membership logs on to the existing web site, and most new membership joins are from the web site. So the membership is using the site, and the new service will be promoted there - as well as in (I would think) the club email newsletter. As it's free to me, I will dip into it. I probably would find the £10 subscription a turn-off otherwise, though. But maybe the club's marketing research suggests otherwise. Time will tell.

You'll need to Register first of course.

I'd happily pay £10 to watch all the World Cup races during the season, but I guess this isn't what the Club will be offering?

Tim Brown, no it is still active, but it is funny - you have to use the "Control " and left click buttom at the same time to get in for some reason.
I'll try to find a better working link, if available.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I did consider starting a "snowHeads TV" thread to see what online, freely, legally available snow footage we could come up with...

and......?
I'd rather pay sH £10.00 to watch than give a tenner to a commercial business like the ski club

You know it makes sense.

Sounds interesting but like others I'd rather pay Snowheads than the Ski Club!
They don't seem to have a website yet which is strange for an online service that's launching soon.

its now active - see here
The history of skiing video is interesting - but it, ISFAICS, is, like most of the others, just an excerpt and not the full video. For that, you'd have to purchase it
