Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dicko, 5 degrees here driving home this eve. Radio forecast reckons snow down to the "Niederungen" (about 450 or so m) by the end of the week - not necessarily settling, mind

Still only 2.5 this morning. Just about to get the winter tyres on here too, we've got guests out next week for an Autumn break - they could be in for a shock. I'll have to warn them. Probably melt be next week though, looking at the forecast.

Yep starts to warm up again on Sunday!

Tried to get booked in for Thursday to get the tyres changed. Seems like there is the usual surge of people who leave it to the last minute......cough Laughing

I was skiing in Prabichl by the 12th of November last year, but it was still 20 degrees on the last week of October. "so your saying theres a chance"?

Think it will still be cold enough at altitude over the weekend. Just depends whether enough snow falls in the next 2 days to allow skiing at Laax or Engelberg (both should already be open by now) or Lenzerheide (would open this weekend given snow).
