Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Steve Turner, they manage the rental of some of the apartments in the same building as my place in Les Arcs. Small company, but they seem to be reliable from what I know of them. They seem to only rent apartments in property developed by the French company MGM, which tends to be at the higher end of the French self-catering market. These will be nicely appointed by probably small compared to what you are used to in the US.
Welcome to snowHeads.

Hi Steve
I've spoken to Elaine from MyFrenchChalet on the phone, as we were considering renting our chalet out through them. She was very pleasant and helpful, and gave me a lot of good advice. We didn't go with them in the end, but only because she seems to really specialise in apartments rather than chalets. I've recommended her to a couple of friends since, both to rent from and to manage apartments. Hope this helps!
The actual apartments, I don't know, but as rob@rar says, they are mostly MGM so should be of a good standard.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've used them - bit tricky to get hold of at times as only the one person I think but apartments were nice (in the mgm at les arcs), well maintained etc. No problems with payments, deposits or anything like that, nothing especialy outstanding (we arranged everythig bar apt ourselves) but hassle free and 'as described'

We used them a couple of years ago when we had an apartment in Chamonix but closer to Flegere than Brevent. The apartment was fine, compact but very clean. We arrived late in the evening after 10pm if I remember rightly and they were still happy for us to pick up the key at that time. There was an underground car park at the apartment block and it did take us about 10 minutes to find the right door out of the car park into our aparment block (but it was quite late at night)!! Also we never did manage to find our ski locker but otherwise, everything else was fine.

Soozy, you should find the ski locker OK this year, it's right next to the front door.

Great we can't go wrong there then. In Chamonix, there were dozens of them in the basement, none bearing the name of our aparment!! Can't wait till next Feb.

How odd!
MyFrenchChalet don't do Chalets...just appartments.
Don't they have a Trades Description Act in France?
