Coach travel is a good recipe for a sleepless night - and a numb bum on arrival at resort.

17 Oct, 2006 - Eurolines ski coaches to the Alps
There is a really relaxing way to avoid early morning check-in, expensive car parking, surcharges and taxes on the way to your ski holiday – and travel by coach is it.
For the third year Eurolines is providing its highly competitive Eurolines Ski coach service direct from London Victoria to 13 resorts in the French Alps. All for prices starting at just £109 return.
The overnight service has a very civilised early evening departure time from central London crossing the Channel by Eurotunnel and arriving at the resorts the next morning. It means passengers have time to sleep and relax on the coach and can hit the ground running when they reach their resort.
Eurolines Managing Director John Gilbert said: “This is a tremendous deal and one of the best on offer for the new ski season. There are NO hidden extras, no fuel surcharges or taxes and we don't charge for carrying skis and snowboards. We know from the success of the service in previous years that people like our low prices and choose to travel with us because it helps to keep the overall cost of skiing down.”
“The service is really appealing to independent travellers and the increasingly large number of budget skiers. It has also proved popular with our holiday partners who can bring down the costs of their packages.”
The 8 resorts covered by the service include: St Gervais (Megeve) Chamonix, Moutiers, Aime, Bourg-St-Maurice, Tignes Les Lacs and Tignes Val Claret, Vald'Isere. ENDS www.eurolines.co.uk 1.
