Here's the criteria:
10 work colleagues (all male) of varying ability from never been to been lots
3-4 days maximum, so short term accommodation
Not budget accom but not OTT, preferably B&B
Flying to Geneva is ideal, but Turin, Milan, Lyon, Grenoble, Salzburg if it suits
Transfer 1.5 hours maximum
Lively apres
Early to mid February (we are avoiding half-term)

Peter Leuzzi, have you looked at Flexible Breaks 's website? They do from 3 nights and airport transfers to both Sauze d'Oulx and Montgenevre.

Geneva, go up the road to Chamonix, do the valley - Le Tour, Argentiere, Les Houches, oh, and that one in the middle, um Sha mow knee. But go late Jan or early Feb - before the school holidays.

Why not fly to Innsbruck ? You can get to lots of resorts within 1.5 hours by good public transport. Good value short term accommodation is plentiful. Or you could stay in the city itself and catch a bus to the local slopes.
From Salzburg you could easily do Bad Hofgastein.
