Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

axium300 versus axium 110

Hi there,
Recently purchased a pair of rossignol b2s secondhand. The ad in the shop said they were fitted with rossignol axium 300 bindings but they arrived with axium 110 bindings.
Is this a big deal? Are the axium 300s much superior? I cant seem to find out much about either.
Should I phone the shop and ask for some money back?

I get the idea that the 300 is the superior binding but they both have dins in the 3.5 to 11 range which makes them both an intermediate level type binding I'd have thought. Depending on your type of skiing you aren't going to be unsuitable for this type unless you are very heavy and/or very powerful.

I would feel a bit cheated if thats what you were lead to believe but I'm not sure it will make that much difference between the two options quoted

Cheers jt, Im neither heavy nor excessively powerful so it should be cool, I think I'll let it go unless anyone knows how much more the 300s cost than the 110s?
