As above please guys n gals, amyone know of a spare bed going in st anton for the season??
Any help woudl eb great, and an idea of a cost of a bed there if theres nothing going

thanks alot, i have tried the to office via email with no replies, from the feedback im geeting i think it may be a case of getting out there and then finding something when im there.
The only thing is im not too sure how much money a bed will cost me for the season so not sure how much money i need

Its pretty difficult to find something, you almost have to wait for someone to die or give up the sport for one to come available. Nearly all houses have spare rooms in there basements or attics. These rooms are very basic just bed,washbasin and a community shower. The owners reserve/keep for there cleaners/workers but sometimes there all all occupied. These are not official rooms to rent so they will not register you (which is illegal). You almost have to go round and knock on everydoor which is a mamouth task by itself as about 2000 other skibums are doing the same

You maybe able to get a room with hot cold water for around €20 per night with breakfast but it wil not be downtown.
What I described in above post you have to talk direct and negotiate a monthly rate. You could try booking a room for say 6 weeks then why you find your feet there, find another room . Or send an email direct to a house .
