Yup. But why should they stock a wide range if a large % of their former customers will come in, ask for advice, then go online to buy them elsewhere?

To my mind they were slow to adapt to the fat ski market (considered too much of a niche), which combined with ignorant Aussie wonder staff would make me pretty desperate if it was the only place I could buy skis.

I think they're going more for the general outdoor/camping/hiking market. More Rock less Snow?

Yes, I've noticed more rocks around. Maybe it's heat expansion.

Certainly nothing in there had me eyeing the credit card (thankfully).

marc gledhill, I was also disappointed. After testing all those skis at Cas I was looking forward to reading what Slush and Rubble had to say.
They seem to have gone for more designers but limited choice from each manufacturer.
I would like them to cut down to fewer brands and widen the choice from that particular brand.

Odin, tis amazing how they get away with it but they've been doing so for decades. Guess there are loads of people out there who don't care about saving a few quid here or there.. they're more interested in saving time and only buy from S+R cos of their size and position in the market.
