Poster: A snowHead

Has anyone used the Magic in Motion ski school in the 3 valleys? I'm looking for lessons for 2 adults of different abilities (1 reasonably advanced and the other just reaching itermediate) and they seem to offer group lessons for both abilities at the same time whereas most ski schools in most resorts that I've looked at (apart from ESF) seem to offer the lessons at different times e.g. intermediate in morning and advanced in afternoon. Having both lessons at same time then means we could ski together when not in lessons. Any one know anything about them?

Had a snowboard lesson with them about 5 years ago. We were distinctly unimpressed, the instructor did not assess us before teaching and his choice of terrain was dubious to say the least. He was more interested in his own boarding rather than ours.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Had a skiing lesson with them in Courchevel about three years ago - I thought the instructor was excellent.

We used MiM for the kids in both group and private lessons, initially in Meribel and latterly in Courchevel and were very happy with them. They really pushed the 15 year old during his private lesson and his technique, which happily for him bears no resemblance to mine, improved during the group lessons.
I would/will use them again.

A friend used them in La Tania a few years ago. They were quite a small school, so not much flexibility in range and times of classes, but the quality of the instruction seemed very good.

we've had mixed experiences of them in Meribel.....
Mrs C, a friend and I had some amazing sessions with the late and much missed Robin Cane when he used to work for them
BUT my sister in law wasnt as impressed with her group lessons so as everhwhere else it's very much instructor dependant. Having said that they were flexible and allowed here to move up/down groups during the week.

blizt, Never used them but friends have & they recommend them.
I can personally recommend New Generation in each of the Courchevel resorts & Meribel. They're lessons are all at the same time plus they do excellent performance clinics for intermediates & above two afternoons a week. http://www.skinewgen.co.uk
