Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi everyone,
I sent my new and never used S2 back to Mammut as part of the voluntary recall on the 12th November to their UK address that they provided on the return postage label, it’s in Lancashire. I tracked it and it is last recorded in Preston on the 14th. I contacted mammut customer service who told me it is royal mail’s problem. I contacted Royal Mail and they said to submit a claim for a lost item. I’ve also emailed the uk company last week, but they haven’t responded either. So before I put a claim in has anyone else had this problem? Mammut customer service were shockingly bad by the way, I won’t be buying Mammut again.

Was it set to transmit before you posted it?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That things get lost in the post? Yes.
Issue with Mammut UK customer service? No. Had a tech issue with my Barryvox S a couple of years ago and they were superb.

Mammut have been absolutely brilliant afaik. My Barryvox is fantastic and was a league better than their competitors when I bought it. They would at the top of my list for a replacement in the future.
You’ve just had a bad postal issue. If you sent it by Special Delivery for about £6 it would either be there next morning or you would be repaid the cost of the lost item and get a replacement.
