Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

CARV Sensors and Boot Inserts For Sale

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
This is the original version 1 CARV system, with size E (260 - 285) boot inserts. Has been used for 3-4 weeks but still in original box with all charging cables, several unused boot insert tapes and even the stickers!.
There is some slight wear on the cable of one boot insert but I have taped it to protect it going forward. It still works perfectly though with the most up-to-date version of the Carv App (either Android or iOS). You will require a Carv subscription if you want to benefit from ski tuition. £40 + £6 post and packing or collection from Maidenhead.

Aren't Carv 2s essentially free with the subscriptions? Can't see there is much of a market for the old equipment though you do seem to have priced at the spares and repairs level.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The Carv 2s are only free with a yearly pass at £199

Carv 2s with a 6 day pass would be £198. So the year 1 cost would be the same, but subsequent years would be "only" £99 for the subscription.

Buying these sensors and a 6 day pass would be £139. Not a huge saving. Which seems silly but thats how the Carv pricing works.

The whole thing is clearly geared to drive people to the yearly subscription. Given that many only ski once a year, and those who ski 2+ weeks are unlikely to use the coaching every day they ski it does not seem good value to me. I would rather be able to pay the full cost for the inserts, and be able to share them with others only paying for the coaching days I use.
