Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not of any interest to me, but a mate sent a pic of the current Aldi ski / board range on offer.
They have an "adult bundle" of snowboard stuff - 2 base layers, jacket, trousers, gloves........and boots.....for £59.94
I dont have much knowledge of boarding gear, cant imagine the boots are any good !!
However, for newbies, the gear could be helpful.

Base layers are warm and hard wearing. Socks good quality. Been using them for a number of years.
Got a jacket and some trousers for about £50 a couple of years ago. Now used for 4 weeks skiing, and numerous trips to the fridge and still in good nick.
Gloves only lasted 1 week before stitching came apart. (might have cut it on a ski edge whilst carrying them).
Never tried boots, but agree unlikely to be much use at that price, but no idea of general prices for boarding boots.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I don't think the boots are snowboard boots, just ones for walking in the snow.
The website is showing them as available from November 21st. The merino baselayer image is just of tops but if you click on it there are leggings as well.

The boots are just snowboots as far as I can see, rather than actual snowboarding boots. But for what they are they're good enough for wearing in-resort and travelling - we've had them for the kids before.
