Poster: A snowHead

Hi,
Does anyone know how we can get from Val d'Isere to Geneva airport? I've looked at Ben's Bus and Altibus, but they're geared towards the opposite trip (TO Val d, instead of FROM).
I might as well elaborate: We're doing a week in Val d'Isere, then a week in St Anton. If we can get to Geneva by about 13:30, then we can do the rest to St Anton by train
Thanks!

Welcome to Snowheads!
I've just had a look on Ben's Bus website. Click on "Single" (journey) and pick a date to travel FROM Val D.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Otherwise check out Snowheads favourite, SnowDrone for a shared transfer. There is also a discount code over on the Tignes thread.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Also have a look at Alpine fleet.
Our daughter used them a few times last season and they were much better than Bens Bus.
Remember the bus station in Val D’Isere is no more. It has now relocated to La Daille in front of the Funival and no coach’s are allowed into Val town between 0700 and 2100.
Once dropped at the La Daille bus station you are expected to transfer to the Red Shuttle bus/Train Rouge to complete your journey with all your luggage and squeeze on with all the skiers.

You'll need to Register first of course.

@muppet, thanks for this. Useful to have another option to SnowDrone to look at when trying to match flight times and transfers. As your daughter used a few times last season, the service must have been ok.
A decent shared (and affordable) service has definitely made Val more accessible for short trips. I'm all booked up for opening weekend.

@muppet, My word the peasants will be revolting. But I suspect there will be a proliferation of posh minibuses.

@lower, it is a much better bus station with more space than in town. It's located near the funicular and so I think it will work out ok.
@chocksaway, as if they needed an excuse for more posh minibuses
