Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Nordica Dobermanns

Last trip I hired a pair of Dobermanns at Alleghe and Arabba and got on well with them.

I'd like to buy a pair but not sure which ones I want as they seem to be a range! They were Slalom, and not the Spitfire (although if the Spitfire is similar to the ones I had that's OK). They were all red (or pretty much all red).

Any ideas what exact, model they could be? And where's a good place to get them. Also need mounted bindings.

@MorningGory, huh, I rather thought Dobermanns were a bit to "racey" to be hire skis. Ever day a school day.

And looking at the Nordica site, I'm a bit confused. Some years ago I had a pair of Dobermann FIS slaloms. They were mind-bending. Awesome.

It sort of looks as though Nordica have now placed the "retail" Dobermann as the above Spitfire level. In any case I'd agree that they'll be a lovely ski.

Where you going skiing?

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There's pictures of some models in the snowBase/gear test area. Or Google might find more images of different models/years.

I've got Doberman Spitfire Ti and they're (20/21 model I think, black with green graphics). I rarely use them so I'd take an offer on them.

@under a new name, I never thopught I was a racer, but.....

They did offer me Spitfires at Samont but I asked for the red ones, so maybe the Spitfire is the leisure version. As long as they're similar I'm sure they'd be good.

PiPAU and Birthday Bash for me this season, maybe a trip to me mate's chalet in St Foy too. #RetirementSucks
