Throughout the season, there are loads of ski demo events open to the public, but it is not always easy to find out the details, especially if you are not being exposed to the local marketing. Please add any public demo day info you find in the wild/that gets sent to you by email into the thread, and I'll transfer it to the top post, then others can organise their trips to coincide with the events if they are looking to try out skis on the mountain.

Stubai, 8th-10th November 2024 Stubai Zoo Park and Test Days
This is the opening event for the park at Stubai. I'm not sure what type of equipment is available to test – if anyone knows, please speak up, as I'm not interested if it's only park skis.

Great idea for a thread!!
I follow both Black Crows and Zag Skis on social media and they seem to be running events throughout this season at various (European) resorts.
Also, my local ski shop recently hosted a ‘consumer ski test’ in Pila, which I think they have done in previous years (The Ski Exchange, 10th-16th March https://skiexchange.co.uk/pages/consumer-ski-test-10th-16th-march-2024)
My biggest hope is that the EoSB ski test returns in some guise; happy days, all be it often expensive…

Some may be Faction's own events, but others, like the Intersport Snow Day and Freeride Testivals feature all the major brands.

Considering coming over to Stubai for the Intersport test in November, now that i've ended up buying the Tirol Snowcard. Good reason to come over and check out the area as i've not skied there before.

@swskier, Never skied Stubai?! Then yes you should! Just note that it's not a free event (unlike pretty much all the others), the robbing barstewards. I'm undecided, but I'll try and find out more about the Stubai Zoo event and go to that if they have piste skis, and/or the Axamer Lizum event. Might go to the Intersport one, but it's lower down the list because of the extra charge.
