Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looks like all Jet2 ski flights now cancelled for this season. I have a Mark Warner trip booked 28/2 - they are still showing Jet2 flights from regional airports and BA flights from Gatwick - all of which have been cancelled yet the holiday hasn’t been! Surely all operators are going to have to cancel this season now?

Some of the Major TO's use Jet2 - wonder how this will affect them ?

That’s why I’m concerned for Mark Warner bookings. A Quick scout round the Airlines sites and none of the MW flights now exist. surely their season is scuppered? I just wish they would let us know sooner rather than later - last season, I’d actually reached the airport before they cancelled!

Which TO did you use? I have a booking with Neilson, and I suspect they use Jet2 when flying into Geneva from Luton. Sad Sad

jet2 just moved my GVA->LBA Sunday flight from 20:30 to 13:10, not sure they understand their skiing audience!!

Had to cancel the whole trip and re-book with Easyjet from Liverpool.

@kitenski, we never use them, despite them flying to Geneva from our local airport (Leeds Bratfud), because they seem to be set up for 7 day holidays (early Saturday or Sunday outbound, back about lunchtime) - so we end up driving over to Liverpool or Manchester for a Thursday evening flight then home on a Sunday or Monday late.

@andy from embsay, they'd actually got good flights out Thurs am and late back Sunday for a decent price!! No idea why they've switched to a lunchtime flight, even someone visiting Geneva for a weekend wouldn't want to have to be at the airport at 11am on the Sunday to get home!!

@v1cky24, I tend to goto Liverpool as smaller airport, can park nearby and walk!

@kitenski, but people probably don't want a flight that arrives in Geneva early evening on Sunday (too late for transfers or hire cars) and that would be your plane home.

@kitenski, we also try not to come home Sunday night as we’re coming from Morzine, so you can get caught up in the weekender traffic heading back to Geneva. Generally if we’re doing a long weekend we’ll go out Thursday night and back Monday night so 4 days skiing for 2 days off work.

@kitenski, what date is this on? I have a 20:20 GVA - LBA departure on Sunday 30th March which is still showing as going ahead. Is yours an April flight? I wonder if mine will be rescheduled too or if I'll have to change to MAN-GVA.

@kitenski, interesting. I've just checked and every Sunday before mine is 13:10 or 15:10 return. Assume mine will change at some point... I will have to do some digging.
