Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Apartment share new year? Ideally parent plus 5-6-7-8ish yr old

This may be a little alternative but I am considering advertising for a parent and child combo to share the costs of an apartment in Sainte Foy (France) over the new year. Basically I booked it and thought it would be the only trip of the season but then ended up booking with friends for Feb half term. It is probably too costly to keep both bookings but if I could share the costs for the New Year trip it would be do-able. And the apartment is a great location right on the slopes so seems a shame to pass it up.

I don't think that's a daft idea at all - but people will want to know what the apartment consists of, and what the sleeping arrangements would be!

Yes that would be useful! The accommodation is the L'Etoile des Cimes SAINTE-FOY TARENTAISE. The apartment has two separate bedrooms and a living room, a bathroom and a shower room. So each 'group' would have their own bedroom (and one has a shower room) and the living space is shared. I have just checked the accommodation and they are already pretty much sold for these dates (28 Dec - 4 Jan).

I think this is a great opportunity!
I am keen to take my 6yo boy skiing and would like to build an idea of cost for this trip.
I looked at using Espirit last season and decided against it as a 1st time trip.
