Poster: A snowHead
|
I'm looking to get away with my daughter this season, ideally with other families with similar age kids.
I'll take her on the family bash if it goes ahead, I took her 6 yrs ago & it was a big success, she really loved Val Tho.
I took her 2022, just the 2 of us & it was not so good
Me, 59 advanced/expert on & off piste
Daughter, advanced with confident attitude.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I was in the apartment with you, this fbash. How old was she/is she?? I've got a mate who's DSs don't get/like him. I'm assuming she's late teen/early 20s. It might just be "let them go"

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Maybe, "Let's meet somewhere.", rather than "Let's ski somewhere."

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@joffy69, it's in the title, she'll be 17 in November

It sounds as though one of the UCPA places might suit you - some have twin bedded rooms, if that's a possibility. Plenty of company, she could meet other youngs.

UCPA is a VERY good shout. Flaine is worth a look, they have twin beds, and some great off piste - you can do the off piste course while your daughter does another course

@tangowaggon, sorry, missed that. @Origen, @nbt, I thought there was an age limit on UCPA

There are age limits but they vary and are not very rigid, with all sorts of exceptions. Have a word with "Action Outdoors".

Looks like all ucpa family dates are booked, I'm seeing some deals for apartments in Val Thorens & Andorra

@joffy69, as @Origen says they can be flexible, the age range is certainly higher for off piste courses, but an indivudual centre may make an exception for other circumstances
@tangowaggon, genuinely worth calling action outdoors, they were really helpful when I spoke to them
