Hello can you recommend a ski hire shop in Val Thorens ?
But it will be half term so preferably not the one most people will use (normally the most convenient location in town).
Does most places allow you to keep skis and boots there at end of day as well ?
Thanks all

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

The whole town is virtually ski in /out so rent next to your accommodation. Don't think shop storage is much of a thing as a result.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the replies, so no to leaving equipment at shop,
Any recommendations for hire place that won’t be busy on the Sunday morning of half term won’t make it time for Saturday evening. I know its a tough ask.
Thinking of BLACK SKI SOLEIL MAVERICK, slightly out, anybody used them ?

Just get wherever you're renting when it opens and you should be fine. Remember everyone else will have first morning faff and at least half will have collected the night before.

As Dave mentioned, just rent from the closest shop to your accommodation for ease.
Last year, we sorted our skis on Saturday night (family of 6) and my brother, who arrived late in the night, still sorted their skis, boots, etc (family of 4) and made the ski school drop off. Most shops will be geared up to service the Sunday morning demand!

Can anyone recommend a hire shop in VT that allows specific ski model requests?

@DaiSki, I've used this site loads of times with no issues. You can tailor what you need and from where to suit. You get a voucher to take to the shop. As I say, used many times and all been fine, including in VT.

Depends on your budget, but there’s a Ski Set over the road. I’ve found that shop to be very busy though
The ski hire shop inside L’Oxalys and also inside Le Hameau du Kashmir have always been very helpful. you don’t have to be staying there to rent skis from them. It’s a couple of minutes walk down hill from where you are staying
