Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Myself (36) and my father 58 both males looking to visit both Alpe D'Huez and les Duex Alpes. We will be travelling from Cornwall getting flights from Bristol to Grenoble. Transfers with bens bus. Staying in resort close to the lifts. Intermediate boarder and skier not really interested in apres skiing, but do like to make the most of our holiday and time on the slopes. Is there anyone that would like to join us for a good weeks skiing? Feel free to private message or reply in the comments

Don't bother with L2A for long - it really disappointed me last season. It is a nice town for a few drinks in town with a meal and a bit of scenery but we had skied the whole place in and out in 2 days and mountain food is a bit poor. Only one decent mountain restaurant in the whole place. Go to ADH and stay there and take the car to L2A for one day or Chamrousse, Serre Chevalier or Puy St Vincent as a day is on the ADH pass

Thanks for the reply we've ended up booking ADH for the week staying in resort and using bens bus. We skied Serre Cavalier last season and was very impressed with the area and what it has to offer

Always happy to meet fellow snowheads for a ski and a beer.

1st to the 8th March is still French half term, that could be why.

I go to ADH on 25/1 .

It is one of my fave ski areas. Up there with Les Arcs and 3V for quality and variety

@BrAv3h3aR769, all worked out in the end. As above w/c 8th outside school holidays and ADH is better than LDA IMO.

 You know it makes sense.

I found L2A to be a fun, reasonably cheap resort. Great food in some places at a great price, but if you want something cheaper a great burger place.

Brits meet in The Red Frog Pub. We found someone happy to guide us over in La Grave, which really is a must do if you're up to it.

One of the cheapest ski holidays ever for me. £500 and something for an apartment for 4 within 200 yards of lift.

Cool.

Sure you'll have a great week.

Only ADHD and the Paradiski region I want to visit in France but haven't. Tend to go to Italy and Austria much more these days.

Not sure if there's a bus goes from ADH to L2A, but La Grave is one of the best days I've ever had skiing. Worth a bit of effort.
