Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Folie Douce Les Arcs

I’m wondering if it’s possible to ski back from Folie Douce (after apres of course) to Arc 2000? Currently looking to book a place in Arc 2000 but would consider staying in Arc 1600 if that’s not possible. Thanks! Little Angel

@freethemind, no, but you can get the free shuttle bus from 1600.
Other apres bars are available in 2000 & 1950 so I suspect it wouldn't be your only choice for a week. (Gordon Bennett, who could take FD for a week?? Smile )

@freethemind, It depends on how long you stay in the Folie Douce but you need to get to the Transarc before it closes. Depending on the season that could be as early as 16:30. To get to Arc 1600 you need the Vagre which in the past closed a bit later.

Otherwise it is the navette to 1600 followed by the navette to 2000.

As @Arctic Roll, points out other bars are available, notably the Arpette, which now has dance musak and dancing girls until the pistuers close it down at about 17:30 to 18:00. From there you can ski down to 1600 and get the navette to 2000. I think they are also doing the evening meals again once a week until 21:00 from which you can ski down to 1600 and get the navette to 2000.

ps. I have encountered people on the navette from 1800 to 1600 planning to go onto to 2000 and Bourg st Maurice who have clearly been enjoying alcoholic beverages somewhere in Arc 1800, probably the Folie Douce
