Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I’ll be in Milan early December and have the opportunity to take the weekend skiing 6,7,8 December. Decent intermediate. Considering a trip on my own. Is it too early and if not - where would I go? Many thanks

I would not book anything in advance, that is not necessary and quite useless.
Snow will not be a problem; wind closures often are

Alternatives for when there is ANY chance of wind are:
1. Pila. You stay in Aosta, and take the cabins up - no car needed and quite the right area for a few days
2. La Thuile.

Hard to disagree with Onnem there. Will be loads of availability that time of year so book last minute when you know what conditions will be like.

Hi Timmy! I'm a ski instructor from Cervinia! Lifts on the italian side are usually open around November, depending on snow they might open at the beginning / mid or end of November; you will definitely be able to ski!

P.S. if you need a ski instructor do not hesitate to contact me Very Happy
