Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Beginners slope

Poster: A snowHead
Hello, we are a family of 4 with kids 12, 10 and we will stay in Val Gardena for a week during the new Year. We are all beginners. Which is the best slope so the kids to get confidence with easy slopes?

I saw that Alpe Di Suisi has very easy slopes but we are staying in Val Gardena. Can we go every day in Alp di Suisi? Can we go via lifts from Ortisei? Or Santa Christina?

Thanks

@Tonilong, Welcome to snowHeads snowHead

Above advice is good.
Alpe di Suisi is accessed from Ortisei.

@Tonilong, There is a 'Valley' bus that runs from Selva to Ortisei (for access to Alpe di suisi) :: The Monte Pana also an easy slopes area (accessed from Santa Christina)

For absolute beginners, Selva has adequate slopes

 Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

100%. No matter how perfect a run might be for beginners if you've never done it you have another demon on your shoulder chatting doubts in your ear. Will it he too hard? Will I take a wrong turn and end up on a black? Etc. If you stick to runs you've done with your instructor you have one less thing to worry about.
