That was awesome... Thanks .... I've read the books by Hunt, Hillary, Shipman and Tilman among others, been to basecamp but wow that view from the drone is unreal.

That was incredible. I've read a few autobiographies of folk that have attempted to summit Everest (not all successful). The books paint a dark picture. The drone makes it look like a stroll on a sunny day.
Amazing to see such huge groups of people walking along.

That video, as do many others, shows only an altitude challenge, rather than a "climb".
Nothing in comparison to the achievement of those who did it with just ice axes, crampons and roped together.
99.99% of those who've summited would never have done so without the assistance of fixed ropes and ladders.
