anyone know anything about them?
is there a list of known resorts what is allowed & what is not?
Coming to the realisation my knees are shot & I am doing more long term damage than short time enjoyment.
Ive tried a ski mojo & it's not for me. So now looking at a scooter.
Ideally would need to find a resort that rents them first. I believe a few french resorts do.

I’m in the 3V at the moment and seeing quite a lot of them on the slopes, and ski shops are also renting them.

I tried one for a day last year.
Somehow I'm still alive! Aboslutely leathal things - although great fun in deep powder 
Basically had very little way of controlling speed / direction on the piste. That may have been down to being a complete novice on it...

Tried a snowbike once... emphasis on once. Could never get over you're one slip from a tangle of bike tubes and dislocated limbs. Plus most lifts won't let you take them up.

Nope, they are different. The scoot & mojo do not have a seat & the ski is in to 2 parts.

Whenever I've seen someone on one the position has always looked remarkably uncomfortable on the lower back. Also looking at the video above I can't see how it'd be any easier on the knees than a board or skis

Going to bump this thread.. Looking for resorts where they are allowed, so if you have seen one on the slopes, can you mention where? I probably only have 1 or 2 at the most trips in me.
Had an MRI this week to see if I am suitable for injections or not (Doc opinion before MRI was no, but he wanted to make sure). My knees & feet are shot & shots would only be a short-term measure.
My thought is at least with a scoot, I am not locked in & can any footwear suitable for the conditions.
