Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Boot moulding/fitting in Courchevel 1650

Hi All

We're lucky to be off to Courchevel 1650 this coming season and now looking to book gear hire. My girlfriend has decided to get some boots moulded to her feet, and I've seen posts on here strongly recomending the Boot Lab https://thebootlab.co.uk/boot-fitting/the-process/

Unfortunately their shop looks closed in 1650 and we don't fancy going to meribel, as I'm not quite confident enough yet to be skiing around with her hire boots on my back in a rucksack.
Has anyone had experience of Jean Blanc Sports in 1850, or could recommend anywhere else easier to get to in Courchevel? https://www.jeanblancsports.com/en/contact-ski-shop-courchevel

Ski Center in St Bon (below Le Praz).
Accessible by bus if you don’t have a car ( though check times as they are less frequent than between 18/16/15/Le Praz…).

I’ve never bought from Jean Blanc but they adjusted boots I bought in the Uk which were giving me grief. Did similar for a couple of friends. Easy to get to from 1650 if they needed tweaking after you’ve bought as well.
