Has anyone tried it? What tips have you got?
I am looking to visit some friends in April in the Netherlands and thought I'd spend a day there.

It's a big indoor ski slope with a slow chairlift. It's (very) quiet in May/Jun, and busy in Sept-Dec. Two main slopes, one of which is often in use for race training thus unavailable to punters.
There's usually a big freestyle area with some serious jumps etc., but not always, so if that kind of thing floats your boat, check if its available.
I used to run race training trips there for our ski club. It's fantastic for that - you can rent chunks of the slope, tho' it's so quiet in spring that we often got the whole slope.
Not sure what tips you'd need for an indoor slope! But if you have kids, there's a good go-ape type thing, and a decent luge-on-rails.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You'd probably struggle to fill a day there just skiing. Like @snowdave, we've been for race training (Jnr), but before he raced we went for a recreational trip (we'd gone to the area to watch World Champs cycling). We stayed in the hotel and had an evening skiing - probably 3-4 hours there which was good fun but that was probably plenty enough time. There's a few other things to do there as mentioned above and the restaurant is reasonably good. Although I think prices went up a fair bit since our first visit.

The Netherlands won't let UK coaches work there so clubs have stopped going since Brexit, won't affect @king key though.

APR, UNIQ and impulse are still doing camps there this year. Went on a 4 day one with daughters last year. I got the most out of it, massive improvement, was carving so hard by the end I was getting air in my transition. Just put my headphones on and went hard at it every run like it was a work out. Going back again with family this year from 5th to 16th August, planning to use the park more this year. We found having the chairlift makes a huge difference over other fridges we have used, not it time but being able to chat and have a rest. Met some really good people there, got chatting to a team evo coach and europa cup racer. Staying elsewhere and wont be there everyday as we have other things planned but if anyone fancies meeting up give me a message. Wouldn't recommend staying on site, dormitory vibe with loads of teenage aki racers hanging out in corridors and making noise. A couple of Italian teams who were staying there caused issues for some parents who did.

I have stayed at the hotel just behind the ski slope, the Landgoed Overste Hof, was quiet and walking distance to the slope itself.

The minutes of the last UK TD Forum say otherwise, it is why the Lowlands Championships stopped being held at Landgraaf.

Oddly enough there is an article about the place in the current GB Ski Clubs latest magazine, a little short on detail hence asking on here for any advice before paying a visit. In the article it does mention Impulse Racing looking to run a couple of trips in 2024.

Lowlands have been in Landgraaf the last 3 years. Anyways... Off on a tangent.

Impulse are doing less than they have before at landgraaf, just a week in may/june and two in october, I think it is probably due to a drop in demand but Phil has broken his leg so that could also be a factor. I actually booked different weeks to what I have now with the aim of getting on a impulse camp at a latter date but nobody was doing one when I booked so I changed the dates for when UNIQ and APR are there. I will put the youngest in as an outlier if they have space closer to the time. I don't want to take the place of someone training for indoor championships though. I talked to parents of some junior racers who went to an impulse camp in pila over feb half term last Thursday, very complimentary about it. Jo Ryding was coaching them.

I've gone a few times this winter as I live in Belgium and it's only about 30 minutes from where I work. It's perfect for a few hours in the evening to just get some turns in. The snow park seems good with some jumps, rails, etc. I can't say anything as to the hotel, restaurant, etc.
