Poster: A snowHead

Has anyone had to claim recently on a car hire excess policy and found any company to be particularly good/bad ? We are currently working out which online company to go for but as we ‘re always told , you don’t know who the good ones are until you have to make a claim ….

Amex platinum (which is full CDW, not just excess cover)
Insurance4carhire
Both have been excellent on the 2 claims I've made.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've used insurance4carhire too - very good when I had a claim (for a puncture, which everyone says cars don't have these days, so spare wheels are a complete waste of time...).

Insurance4carhire here as well £46.99 for annual policy less £10 if you go through Topcashback.
Had 2/3 claims over the years with them always dealt with quickly and without fuss.
