Poster: A snowHead

Hi does anyone know with relative ease where the meet points are for the ski schools. I am staying at La Roche Blanche apartments and am wondering whats closest for my 2 kids for their first trip and ski school. (April 6th - 13th 2024)

Hi @Tommycricket, the ski school meeting places are mainly on the edge of the main piste running past the foot of the town. From the Roche Blanche apartments you would ski down past the Caster & Pollux magic carpets and then hang a right to find ESF, Prosneige SkiCool and others. Or alternatively, follow the track past the big ClubMed hotel and then down past the Oxalys (aka snowHeads central) to the Musaraigne magic carpet at the bottom on the left.
the SFaB is running over the same dates, so look out for families of snowHeads - you will see the bright neck tubes! If you look on the bash thread you will see some families are discussing different ski schools.
In the past I have used Prosneige for my family and all have been happy.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

And don't delay another minute before booking ski school - although it's not a terribly busy time, schools will have fewer instructors available than during the peak weeks.

Other things being equal I'd choose the school which is the nearest walk in ski boots, carrying your skis, the kids' skis, and possibly the kids. Maybe uphill.....

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Sorry to hijack thread but came here to discuss ski school in val Thorens and this thread already existed...
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent ski school in val thorens? Going out mid March, would love a few private lessons to actually work on technique rather than being guided.
Cheers

We're in Val Thorens at the moment and have used ESF this week and Oxygene previously and can recommend both for private lessons.
Have a look on skibro.com for instructors availability
