Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, after recommendations for resorts similar to Arc 1950 for either Xmas or Easter next year please. We are a family of 5 (adults & teens) who up to now have been to Arc 1950 a few times & loved it for the ease of ski in/out & variety of slopes for the dare devil teens & myself a cautious intermediate
We have previously been in January & avoided school holidays like the plague but youngest has GCSE.s next year so can’t really afford to miss school.
No preference to country but obviously will need to be a higher resort & ski in/ out would be top of wish list
Only reason for not going back to Les Arcs is we’d like to experience another resort.
Many thanks!

, Les Menuires would be my recommendation.
If you didn't ski over the La Plagne side much then that too.

Belle Plagne is similar in that its high, car free and ski in/out
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Ski terrain wise Courcheval 1850 is the best but £££. Everytime recently I ski La Plagne or Les Arcs it’s very crowded and if feel the beds vs lift capacity has tipped the wrong side
