Just think of that full Fendi snow set (skis and goggles included) while you carve down a black run.

Carve down a black run? If a full Fendi snow set elevates me to that lofty position, I'm in!

Carving up the black icy mogul fields like a boss in your fendi, imagine that. Think ill stick to rossignol gear and groomed reds for now

You're nose is going to be pretty out out of joint if you're dressed to the nines in top-end couture skifash and you get splattered with black oily crud off the chairlift or you inadvertently sit on a goulash.

Has anyone clicked through to the websites selling the skis? Have a look. Never was a pair of skis sold for so much money with such limited information. The Fendi and Hermès ones are only available one length, and the width is discerned from zooming in on the photos. The latter are listed as an “off piste pair of alpine skis”, yet are only 69mm underfoot The horrendous Louis Vuittons are available in S, M or L, whatever that means.
I do quite like the top sheet of the Hermès though. I might have to get some for the wall.

No need for different lengths. These will never actually make contact with snow, but are an essential accessory for aprés ski in all the important places.

I like those Prada base layers. And so much cooler when nobody can see what you're wearing under that jacket you picked up in T K Maxx. It belongs to the same category of cool as an anonymous sort of straightforward trench coat I saw in Cortina. Lined with mink.
The rest of the gear is truly hideous.

And, in reality, the best & coolest skiers are usually the scruffiest.

Nylon though. Yuck. I'd at least expect a non-stinky fabric for my considerable amount of dosh.

The Prada base layers look remarkably like those available from House of Crivet exclusively available in Lidl.

I had a good google rabbit hole earlier looking at all the posh skis - those Hermes ones are definitely for the wall, very pretty.
The fendi are x blizzard, and I've never skied a pair of blizzard skis that weren't irritatingly demanding, so maybe they are actually decent?!

@ElzP, that was my thought too, that the Fendi ones might be a reskinned Black Pearl or similar, but if so, why not just pay the regular price? However, if I was simply looking for a ski to help me prop up a bar, I’d at least choose a nice one. Those are pretty nasty, a bit like 80s decor. Perhaps it’s back in?

Currently in the 3V. I’ve never seen so much decathlon wedzee kit on one mountain.
Seems the French are mad for it.

I can’t believe that anyone would ever buy these ? I mean, you wouldn’t dare go near a lift queue would you ? When you then consider that, almost certainly, they’re made by one of the specialist ski manufacturers you’re basically paying about 20x normal price for the same ski. Why not buy a regular pair and repaint them … or get a unique design from a good artist on Etsy ?
