Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all. Does anyone know of a company that offers shared transfers from Chambery to La Plagne - an extra 1 person may join us 24/2 - 2/3 but our transfer minibus is full. Don’t think she will taxi/train by herself. Struggling to find anything other than private and for one it’s way too expensive.

I concur no shared options. Private taxi door to door or a train and taxi/bus up the mountain. If its on a Saturday I've joined the odd transfer - just talk nicely to the reps.

See if your transfer company can get a bigger minibus? Or a trailer for the luggage? Or if you are all one group can you manage without a rep on the transfer (if there is one)?
Or one of you join her for a train/taxi transfer? Perhaps splitting the cost of the 2nd train fare between you?

Yes we going to try our company to see if they have any way they can help, waiting on reply and we have discussed someone joining her on train so hopefully we can sort something. Thankyou all for ideas, I just need help now getting down the slopes as I’m the weakest skier
