Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

How to getskis from Austria, (Mayrhofen,) to Spain

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi everyone,

Is anyone able to help with the pickle my husband has got himself into?

He bought an ex rental pair of 183cm length skis which are in a friends house in Mayrhofen, Austria and was planning on posting them to Malaga, Spain where we're currently residing or Montgenevre, France where we're planning to ski in March though is having zero luck finding a courier which will take them. Does anyone know any companies to try which could courier these long skis?

Thanks

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I’ve had skis delivered by UPS before. Also operating in the area are DHL, DPD, Hermes, GLS. All have depots in Innsbruck, if there’s nowhere in Zillertal to drop off. Alternatively, post in one of the ski/snowboard groups on social media and see if anyone is driving to France who can take them in the car.

I just sent 2 pairs of 210 cms from Chamonix to Mürren (CH). Apart from a tiny hiccough with the courier taking the customs form off presumably mishandling worked fine.

I used packlink.com who subbed to TNT.

 Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@AnnaGasser, https://www.eurosender.com/

Try these people. I have just sent skis from Sweden to Germany with them using the courier GLS.

You may have to state the package is 175cm long when going through the booking process but can send 200cm packages with them no problem and the final docs you get from GLS confirm that.

Think I paid around €40. Looks like it would be €55 for your requirements.
