Driving over to Morzine tomorrow, I assuming it’s going to be quit. I’ve never been before so where is the best place to park near a major uplift?

Are you going just for the day? If so, sort of depends which main area you plan to ski, if it’s the Pleney side and in to Les Gets, then we’ve preferred to park at the entrance to Les Gets at Télésiège des Perrières.
Quiet ticket office and parking right next to the lift, and links you straight in to the area. If driving in from Cluses/Taninges side then it saves you 15-20mins driving in to Morzine.
If you plan to ski Super Morzine/Avoriaz then probably in the centre in the Tourist Office Parking, it’s under ground but not massively big so might be a gamble finding a spot, but it’s a short walk from the Super Morzine Gondola.

Not ideal for Super Morzine / Avoriaz side but great for Pleney / Les Gets side.
Where are you driving from and which side of Morzine do you want to ski? You can park down by ice rink / pool and get a lift (elevator!) up to Super Morzine. Or underground next to Pleney lift.

Or another option is the additional 10 mins to drive from Morzine to the base of the Prodain gondala, loads of parking there and big gondola straight in to Avoriaz sector. If you are mainly heading to Avoriaz, saves you a couple of lifts and boring runs via Super Morzine.

I suppose that leads me on to next question, driving from St Gervais, so if you had a day & ski pistes like blue and red but can do black no problem what area would you head to.
In a normal day we’ll ski approximately 40km

From St Gervais you're going to come via Les Gets, so park at Perriers the first lift station you get to as you enter Les Gets. Just for the day I think you'll be happy just skiing Les Gets/Morzine, with perhaps a trip over to Mont Chery around lunchtime.

I'm with Doddsie - Les Gets from Perrieres and save 20mins driving and faffing with parking in Morzine. Ski Ranfoilly bowl, Chamossiere, maybe Nyon.

@Jonny996, If you’re skiing the Avoriaz side, why not drive to Ardent? Free parking and much quicker to get to the meaty skiing.

as @andy from embsay and @swskier suggest. Park at Ardent and do the anti clockwise loop via Avoriaz, Les Crossets, Champoussin, Morgins, Super Chatel, Linga, Plaine Dranse and back to Ardent. Unless theres tons of snow in which case spend the day at Mt Chery

@swskier, apparently the run down Linga is a bit horrid at the moment as it’s all blocked off for the junior worlds - so anti clockwise as @OuatteDePhoque says is probably better.

We skied both sides of the blocked area yesterday. Stay well clear - it is narrow and VERY icy.

@Jonny996, Ardent parking. The gondola puts you into Lindarets - go left for Chatel, right for Avoriaz of straight on for the Swiss side.

Still tricky getting from the top of the Linga Gondola to Echo Alpin alongside the blocked part.

Yes open but steep icy and not a blue run skiers delight. We got down there fine but there were some spectacular "yardsales" on view. All the traffic to EA is down that left run so it was very scraped.
