Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowboarding gear wanted for local ski club.

I put this in the classified section but it's possibly better here...
The Ski-Allenheads ski club recently sent out an appeal for snowboarding gear donations to the membership. I happened to have a board and boots to give but they haven't had much response otherwise so I'm casting the net a little wider on their behalf.

They're a lovely little club and have given lots of people the opportunity to ski for the first time without the expense of a fridge. It's completely run by volunteers and is lucky enough to have a hotch potch collection of ski gear available for 'hire' (£5 honesty box). There have been enough people asking about boarding for them to want to try and stock up...
Age or condition isn't an issue as long as it's useable. They're looking for donations, but obviously are happy to pay the carriage.
If you're interested in helping out you can either contact them directly via the 'contact us ' on their home page or if you're in the North East, PM me and I'll be happy to collect.
Thanks snowHead

Cheers for this, I'll check my old kit stash. Would be good to pass them on. My boards will be on the short side but for beginners given the terrain and snow short is good, and of course good for kids/teens.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've got a board, bindings and boots somewhere. All in good nick. I should get up into the attic and sort them out!
