Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Its not on the iphone App store anymore which is a bit ominous.

Can anyone recommend an alternative? I used it to track my routes, look up the piste map and also see where friends were on the piste for possible meet ups.

It's working on Android.
We used the ski area app this year in ski amade and the three valleys both of which were excellent.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Unfortunately I have an iphone.
We are going to Paradiski, and the area app does seem to offer tracking but doesn't seem to have offline maps nor the ability to locate friends.

What about fatmap? Has offline maps and GPS recording. I think you have to 'follow' each other to see locations - not sure as I've never tried using this function...

I just took a look in the Playstore and it says Maprika was last updated on 25th Jan 2024 and it works fine on my Android phone. So looks like it's an Apple problem.
There is Ski Tracks also....not sure if it's on Apple too.
