the temperature of 55 degrees will be fine for the liner and the shell but may soften a custom footbed depending on the product, so probably worth pulling the footbed out if you are using something like this

@Tirol 164, so they can have used in the UK as well, or they are only available with a UK plug. European adapters are a thing.

I was thinking of getting them for hubby to use in Val Thorens next week with a travel adaptor and we can use them in the U.K. in our walking boots.

Yes I live in the U.K. It was a genuine question, you seem cynical of my post.
I haven’t been on Snowheads for a very long time but I remembered that this was a clued up place to ask such questions when I was on here a few years ago. I wasn’t aware that the Snowheads forum is only open to regular posters.
