Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi All,

My name is Rich, I'm 37, and live in Hackney with my partner (non-skier).

I booked 13-21 Jan in Vaujany (Alpe d'Huez) with a good friend...but he's pulled out.

So I now have an un-refundable self-catered studio apartment (£354) all to myself that I can't really justify paying for on my own.

It sleeps 4 (in theory). There's a separate room with a bunk bed, and a double sofa bed in the living room.

Needless to say we were trying to do this on the cheap! I've shopped around a bit and have got it down to £690 all in per person based on 2 people (8 nights accommodation, flights, ski hire, 7 day lift pass, transfers, insurance).

Obviously it becomes a bit cheaper per person if you ski fewer days, or there's 3 / 4 of us.

Anyone interested in joining? Either for the whole thing or part of it?

If so give me a message and maybe we can have a chat on a video call.
