Thanks very much

Maybe archive.org captures them?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, I had a quick search on there. I'm not particularly expert at searching that archive but at a glance I couldn't find them.
I'm trying to find the metro France bulletin for the avalanche in St Gervais on 28/12/23. I'd be interested in what information was available prior to the incident. Does anyone have a copy?
Thanks very much

some old hard slabs can still be found above 2000/2200 m on W, NW, N, NE, E faces especially in areas that are rarely skied. The buried fragile layer (very thin, difficult to detect) is at the interface with the refrozen old hard snow. Size 1 to 2 (small to medium) possible. These slabs are difficult to spot. |

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks so much for all the replies. Very helpful. I was going to look at it and compare to the other info that was available at the time of the incident and then write a post, but I'll need a few mins to do that. Will report back...
Cheers, D
