"Safe" freeride in Zillertal

Hey all,

I'll be visiting Kaltenbach late January and was wondering if there are any avalanche-controlled freeride areas there or in other Zillertal resorts.

My main objective is to ski some natural pistes while ensuring reasonable safety. Fresh powder would be great, but even if it's not snowing, I'd enjoy skiing in decent snow on moguled terrain.

I've head that all pistes are groomed in Zillertal and I didn't see many skiroutes, so I guess freeride is the main option for that.

My plan for the week is to progress from "easy" freeride terrain to more advanced ones. I've heard that the Zillertal shuttle in Hochfugen is a good starting point for freeride. Can anyone confirm this?

Any recommendations or insights on the best freeride spots in the area would be greatly appreciated.
