Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi all!
Solo traveller squeezing in a ski trip before I begin a new job.
28M Aussie living in London.
Staying in La Daille, Val D'Isere from 12th to the 19th of January 2024.
First time skiing in Europe! But in Whistler a mid to strong level 5 (out of 6); so can confidently do blues and some blacks. Keen to do a bit of off-piste here (looking for lessons atm) and learn free-style/park.
Let me know if you're interested in meeting up and hitting some runs!!
Thanks,
Tim

(and of course some post-ski beverages)
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Call into la rosee Blanche in la Daille and ask for the ski club of Great Britain…Yann will point you to some like minded skiers who will be happy to introduce you to Val d isere..
Cheers
Mike

Mike & the Ski Club of GB usually meet at approximately 6,30pm on Sundays in Bar Alex which is on the ground floor of the Hotel La Galise just 30 metres down the hill from the post office in the centre of Val.
They will be propping up the right hand end of the bar.
