I've just had an email from Bruv-in-law telling me of a new flight to Calgary from BA. There are some seriously good prices on the website too. !!!

eddyr, I flew to Calgary with Air Canada 3 years ago, the food was lovely, the staff brilliant, and the leg room comfortable. The return flight was half empty, and we got a decent kip on the way. I flew with BA last year, food inedible, staff rude (particularly at Vancouver check in), and led room VERY cramped. But that's just my personal opinion.

eddyr, nor do I -normally- I'm only 5ft 1, but even I was squashed in cattle class on BA. I think they've made the leg room less to allow for Premium Economy.

I have done Air Canada to Calgary 4 times, and used to live in and fly around Canada. The service very very variabe, the food pretty poor, the planes old with no seat-back screens... Give me United on American or BA any day...

United!!! Jeez, that was the trip from Hell when we went with them! They told us all of our luggage was definitley on the plane when we could see it sitting next to the runway. Had to virtually fight our way onto one flight as the plane was too small. Swore never to fly with them again. Had no problems with Air Canada. The Monarch flight was OK if cramped, but the flight after us apparently the toilets were all blocked half way through the flight so were all locked by the crew. The mind boggles...

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
