Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone come across a good company for inter resort transfers? We’re doing 1 week Tignes then 1 week Les Arcs so looking to book a door to door on Saturday around 5pm. There’s buses and funicular as last resort but don’t mind paying a bit extra so we can go at time that suits us and get full day on the mountain first!

@Val Desire, I did this one time, leading (with a mountain guide) a SCGB group from Val d'Isere. We even managed to include a lot of la Plange like the Bellecote glacier in the day, and this was in the days before the Vanoise Express was open. Return to Val by minibus from Villaroger.

@cocopox, There’s lots of good companies, but book early as most vehicles will be doing the longer more lucrative airport runs at that time. Take your pick from:

Mountain Rescue.

Not many companies do the T Tour now, it relies on good snow, quite low down and as you’ve spotted you’ll be doing quite a lot of walking!
