Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Black crows vertis vs dynastar m cross 82

Poster: A snowHead
Going to courchevel in a month and looking at ski hire. A company I’ve found allows reserving specific models. I’m torn between the black crows vertis and the dynastar m cross 82. I am a good intermediate skier I would say, 5 ft 10 and 76kg. I ski mainly on piste and would like to improve my short turns on steeper runs. I have only used piste skis before and have struggled with shorter turns as the tails feels too grippy. However, would still a ski that’s nice to carve on blues and not too steep reds. What would you suggest is best ski out of the two for that?

@Joehdhchdhd, can't comment on the black crows, but am skiing that Dynastar model this week.
My brief is that I don't want anything too grippy as I don't want to fall as I've a few bits that don't need breaking.

I've loved the Dynastars. I'm a bigger lad 6 ft 4 and 120 kg, and they have been so stable, forgiving, and yet beautiful and fun to ski on.

I can link turns nicely on the blues and reds here, with a decent carve too. Their attributes have allowed me to improve loads in 3 days. They have allowed be to ski so much quicker.

My worry is that I need less weight and more power should I need to do the unexpected.
