Hi, I am planning a stag in June. We are a 35-40 and love the apres ski live band and busy bar vibe, not clubbing. Is there any ski resorts that would have this kind of thing in June??? Was thinking the whole mountain bike, canyoning, rafting type activities and then apres type vibe afterwards but is that wishful thinking??

Morzine/Les Gets would offer all those things - but June might be a bit early as I think the lifts open full time from early July. MTB World Cup first week in July, Harley Days 11-14 July if you like that sort of thing (hairy people, noisy motorbikes, bands etc).

Thanks for input so far guys, much appreciated. Like normal apres with live bands etc?? presume rotates around the normal bars there then like folie deuce hotel etc

As above, your problem is the choice of month. Until a resort opens for the summer activities (which means lifts running) there will be fewer visitors and no incentive for bars to get bands in, etc.
As @andy from embsay says, July and August are the months to aim for and Morzine would be highly suitable. Earlier than that Mediterranean beach resorts would be a better bet.

Can recommend Lisbon for a stag. Great little bars in narrow streets and everyone spills outside and feels like one big street party. Lots of history, culture, great food and some staggy type things e.g riding round on a 'beer bike' type stuff if that floats uour boat. Beaches 45-60 mins away with bars, water sports etc. We were similar ages when we went and all loved it.

Au contraire, we have enjoyed several live bands on summer visits. Often outside, in squares or simply restaurant seating areas. Admittedly it is more frequent when there is a sporting event on.
As always it depends on your definition of "apres", but in Morzine for example the downhill mountain bikers seem to gravitate to the bars after the final run of the day, complete with their Darth Vader suits. And reappear in the restaurants after their shower still having animated discussions about the day's prangs.
There was also a bar facing on to the landing area for paragliders, an interesting spectacle as you spend your afternoon with a pint in your hand.

I've come across live bands in the Dolomites in the summer, particularly St. Ulrich, Canazai and Covara. At St Ulrich we could even hear the tubas on the Kleine Fermeda several km away. However, I do not think much is happening in June rather it all appears to happen in July and August when the schools are on holiday. Actually the Dolomites might not be a bad choice for an activity trip in June. The via ferrata will be doable, mountain bikes can be hired (electric of course since most lifts will not be operating) and there is always the northern end of lake Garda for some watersport.

@St_johnse, how about looking to see if there are any World Cup mtb races on and heading to one of those. You might not be able to do much riding but you will get to see some quality racing and there’s usually a good atmosphere/vibe/party going on.
