Any recommendations please. I've usually gone with the Crystal ski hire package that comes from a small shop (ltd choice) in Galtur (where Im staying).
As Mrs Skitech is buying new boots in Ischgl when we get there, and we will hire a ski locker also, and dropping the skis of after skiing on the Friday will be easier then the options in Galtur.
With a bit of research Intersport shops and Mietski are competitively priced, ski shops such as Brundl also charge for ski poles/changing skis

For Mrs Skitech I can highly recommend Brundl Sports for boot fitting, definately not Sport Adler for ski boots! Sport Adler seemed ok for ski rental

I wouldn't recommend Brundl for ski boot fitting. I bought a pair of boots in the sale at the end of the season and needed some minor adjustments (a punch out and ramp angle adjustment). The shop said they would make the adjustments overnight and then handed them back the next morning having obviously done absolutely nothing to the boots. They clearly realised I'd be gone in a couple of days and they could just ignore my requests until I left.

@wineandfondue, well maybe the expert boot fitter that attended us doesn’t work at night or early morning like the ski tech guys do? Maybe the shop person you spoke to doesn’t understand boot fitting?

If you're trying to save money on ski hire in Ischgl Ski2Rent usually have the best prices, though are a little hard to find and it does feel like you're walking up a motorway slip road to get to them
