Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Visor Helmet recommendation

Decided to get a Visor Helmet but not sure which brand & model to get.

I wear large strong prescription glasses (stereotypical pilot (sun)glasses) so am looking for a one that has a comfortable clearance between my glasses & the visor.

Anyone tried the Bolle Backline Visor?? on Amazon it is selling for £190.24.

Also considering getting the:
- Bolle V-RYFT MIPS Black Shiny with the Cat 1-3 photochromatic lens; though it is £390 (£331.50 after discount). Is it worth getting photochromatic lens or is it too extra??
https://www.bolle.com/gb/snow/snow-helmets/snow-helmets/v-ryft-mips-71268.html

- Salomon PIONEER LT VISOR PHOTO SIGMA offer £168
https://www.salomon.com/en-gb/shop-emea/product/pioneer-lt-visor-photo-sigma-lg8153.html#color=60195&size=26136

Any other recommendations is welcome

Thanks in advance

I think, as with most things where fit is the most important thing you just need to get out there (wearing your ski glasses) and try as many as you can find on.

Was noseing around Covent Garden last weekend, while dropping my old ski boots off for recycling at Slush+Rubble. S+R didn't seem to have any visor helmets but Ellis Brigham had a number of KASK ones in store.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The issue with visors is that they're really too big to carry a spare, so either you're out for the day with one single lens tint, or you use photochromic. If you just have standard non-photochromic goggles and never bother switching lenses, then presumably you'd similarly be happy with a single tint of lens.

One thing you could do is to use photochromic prescription glasses under a single moderate tint visor. I suppose that'd work.
