Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You could try Ski Bartlett , they always have something on sale but its potluck but they shouldnt be too far for you.

I’ve found the TK Maxx window for ski stuff can be short if they get any at all, it can go pretty quick, so even more a matter of luck if you find a good choice when you turn up on spec unless you are going regularly.

HI @ster, thank you, I didn't know Ski Bartlett was in Hillingdon. I will try and get myself there and have a snoop!
Popped into Snow and Rock Chertsey yesterday, the offering is quite poor re women's jackets- alot of bare shop floor at the moment. But quite a lot of different gloves on display and beanies.

@Ski lass, to endorse Ski Bartlett for a visit. Genuine long term ski shop, may not have noted sale on, but usually their stock is there until sold (usually not cleared as such, but reduced on an item by item basis if older stock) and you get various items priced to sell in amongst new stock. Range of everything skiing is comprehensive and with people that know alot about it, and very helpful.

If driving, you can usually park outside without restrictions on a Saturday, westbound carriageway of old A40 and mornings are generally easier for access. Inside ulez now though, so a consideration if affected.

Seems to be the modern way of it, but not a very green approach wink

@ster, that's why you get them sent to the store, not home. You'd be going to the store anyway, they put the stock on their normal store delivery. If you get a refund they just put them on the rack

@ski3, Thank you for this crucial and great information. I definitely would have paid a visit had the expanded-ULEZ not been put in place recently. It's such an annoyance in a way when you'd like to venture to windowshop or purchase something. It's really good to hear a glowing review of the stock and staff. Thank you, so helpful when I'm considering the added ULEZ charge. I definitely need to upgrade my mittens or gloves so may well drive to Bartlett Eh oh!

@holidayloverxx, Thanks for mentioning the free delivery or delivery to store. This is very helpful to know. I obviously haven't been shopping enough as had completely forgotten whether TKMaxx offered this ⭐

Are you sure they do this and not send it back to central distribution so it can be back on the website and able to be sent out again in the timeframes they offer?

Online definitely. I can't be doing with the 'jumble sales' in their shops. Their this season ski gear must be about to drop. Cool

As a retailer in a past life I would say no, but they might be different
